Attfield Close, Whetstone, Barnet

Another street name recalling an Attfield connection. Richard Attfield of Whetstone (1757-1825) was for many years the parish clerk at Friern Barnet. Most of the other streets on this modern housing estate are also named for prominent local personalities.
